Through the Investment in Affordable Housing (IAH), the federal government is investing more than $1.9 billion over eight years to March 2019. Under the IAH, Provinces and Territories (P/Ts) match the federal investment and have responsibility for program design and delivery in order to meet local housing needs and priorities. From April 2011 to March 2019, 421,054 households are no longer in housing need as a result of this funding.

This table shows each province's and territory's share of the federal IAH dollars as well as the federal dollars claimed and number of units in each jurisdiction.
